The Copius Group have been increasingly improving the number and quality of services we provide to our clients and if there is one new service we are most excited about; it has to be our fusion of marketing campaigns and clever Gift Aid management.

Copius have very recently carried out full fundraising campaigns from start to finish on behalf of our Charity and CASC (Community Amateur Sports Clubs) clients which entailed devising and conceptualising a coherent integrated plan, utilising our expert knowledge of Gift Aid legislation, designing and producing artwork (forms, posters, flyers, signage, advertising both online and offline) and finally helping to plan events or strategy to sell tickets, increase donations, raise memberships and other fundraising vehicles.

The concept of Gift Aid is very simple. By following the correct legislation you can receive an additional 25p for every pound donated to your organisation by individual UK tax payers. This can mean if you raise £10,000 for example, you could receive an additional £2,500 with no added effort on your part – The Copius Group handles the required legislative issues, logistical aspects and also the on-going management and administration of your donations and when HMRC come to audit your accounts they will do it through us. We have experience working with HMRC and have developed a strong reputation for our clean management of Gift Aid schemes. Copius might also be able to help you claim retrospectively for donations obtained within the last 4 years which could see you awarded a significant cash fall almost immediately after working with us.

It should be clear to see why Copius are so excited by this new development. We provide a full service from beginning to end of the process. You don’t have to worry about keeping on top of legislation requirements and you don’t have to worry about the tax man because we handle that too!  You may be wondering where the catch is, quite simply there isn’t one.  By claiming Gift Aid you are not taking advantage of a fantastic new revenue stream, you are simply getting what you are entitled through your status as a Charity or CASC. Many such organisations are wary of the potential stress in dealing with this process despite the clear value in doing so, but this is where the Copius Group excels - we handle everything.

Better yet, this is all part of the Copius Priority Club service. For just £99 per month (plus VAT) you can get 4 hours support and consultation with services such as Gift Aid, Marketing, Fundraising Funding Applications, Training and Development, Management Support, Public Relations and further tailored activities to help your club or charity develop and grow.

The Copius Group believes that strategic Gift Aid campaigns are going to be a big part of the solution to helping third sector organisations stand on their own feet, be less reliant on increasingly difficult to obtain funding and to help increase confidence and job security by taking greater control of revenue.

“Years of providing specialist solutions to the distinct challenges faced by many third sector organisations places Copius Scotland in the uniquely strong position to help voluntary organisations in Scotland  – from strategic planning and project management, to fundraising and gift aid.  Helping community and voluntary organisations thrive in this ever challenging climate is my motivation and so I am delighted to be leading Copius Scotland in bringing more success for Scotland’s third sector organisations.”

Speaking of the launch of Copius Scotland, Liam McStravick, Founder of the Copius Group, said, “We at the Copius Group are thrilled to have Dr. Fiona Grossart on board and to be utilising our range of specialist services in supporting the Scottish third sector and improving people’s lives across the region.”
