What we can do for schools.
Through our work across the Third Sector we have recently began engaging with schools and school PTA's as our network and target audience develops and grows. Our work encompasses the sector, and therefore groups wanting to increase capacity or in need of some support in specific areas of our expertise, are seeing the potential.
We have found that schools with charitable status require support with implementing gift aid schemes. We also work with strategic partners building them into school requirements. Music therapy can be beneficial to children with behavioural, attention, communication or attention problems. We have successfully funded these activities within the school environment.
Parent teacher groups created specifically to fund raise on behalf of a school can benefit from the tax relief on offer. Given the voluntary status of this type of group, having a resource that ensures that things get done is vital. Volunteers have commitments outside of the group, what we do is take the pressure off by providing the time and expertise, and most importantly a financial return.
Our commitment to pushing the area of gift aid is highlighted on its dedicated section, yet so many groups are unaware of the opportunities. We feel this is an invaluable service to help charitable groups maximise their efforts, for a greater financial return.
