Osmani Trust (London) - Copius Consulting were drafted by the Osmani Trust to help them in their pursuit to develop a new £4.9 million youth centre in East London. After making a series of funding applications for the organisation, Copius Consulting made a number of presentations to senior staff within Tower Hamlets Borough Council to safeguard the future of the project and the secure the land that the organisation needed to realise the new building.
Result: Tower Hamlets Borough Council agreed to lease the land to the Osmani Trust and secured the first £4.4 million of public funding. Project is now in build stage, having started in November of 2009.
Giants Park Stadium (North Belfast) - Copius Consulting are an integral partner in the proposed £35 million stadium to be situated at the North Foreshore area of North Belfast. Copius Consulting were instrumental in securing the 23 acre site from Belfast City Council on behalf of Crusaders FC and Newington (The football partners) and have been responsible for the business planning and public funding submissions to make the project a reality
Result: Belfast City Council have agreed to allocate 23 acres of the North Foreshore to the project and funding applications are currently being considered for the remaining of £14 million of capital funding.
Onside Northwest (Bolton) - Onside Northwest are the charitable arm of Bolton Lads and Girls Club. The charity has an ambition to develop world class youth facilities in every local authority area of the North West region of England. Copius Consulting were contracted by the organisation in June of 2009 to prepare a range of business plans that would accompany their stage 2 submissions to the MyPlace funding programme in England. Since that time, Copius Consulting continue to work with the organisation to support the revenue funding of the Charity, their own sustainability and additional capital funding submissions for new youth centres planned for the region.
Result: Onside Northwest have now secured £15 million of capital funding for their proposed youth facilities in Manchester, Oldham and Blackburn.
