The Big Lottery Fund is delivering myplace on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).
myplace aims to deliver world class youth facilities driven by the active participation of young people and their views and needs. myplace has funded 70 projects across England worth £270 million. myplace offers a significant opportunity to those with the vision, ambition, and drive to deliver world class places for young people to go.
OnSide charity was developed as a result of the desire to replicate Bolton Lads and Girls club model for youth provision across the Northwest of England. The charity was set up to bring together the public and private sectors across the North West to develop strong local partnerships to build new, world-class, town and city centre facilities for young people.
To facilitate this process, OnSide made a number of applications to the myplace programme to develop five, £5 million Youth facilities across the North West of England. Copius Consulting were commissioned by OnSide to lead business planning element of these applications which included; operational management, business procedures and practices, financial modeling, Risk assessment and mitigation and clearly demonstrated need for the facility development in Oldham, Manchester, Blackburn, Wigan and Carlisle . A number of the Onside projects have been through validation and have now been awarded capital fundnig for development.
In addition to these 5 projects Copius was also commissioned to prepare business plans for the Station project in Bristol and the Roundwood project in Brent Borough Council

Crusaders Football and Athletic Club was formed in the year 1898. The team played at a variety of venues before settling at Seaview in 1921. Earlier home venues included the Glen (which later became part of Alexandra Park), Cavehill Road, Simpson's Boiler Fields, Shore Road (opposite the Grove) and Rokeby Park. Seaview was officially opened on Saturday, September 3, 1921 by Mr William Grant, M.P., prior to kick-off in an Intermediate League fixture against Cliftonville Olympic. Crusaders has always drawn its support from the working class people of North Belfast, from these members it elects its committee and its particular ethos. At an EGM in June 2009 the members voted to change the Club's constitution to become a "company limited by guarantee". This in order, to help facilitate a proposed move to a new stadium at the North Foreshore. Copius Consulting were commissioned by Crusaders and Newington Rangers to complete a business plan, sports development plan and review the clubs governance structures to enable them to relocate to a new £6 million community sports stadium. This stadium will include the construction of state of the art pitches and outdoor recreation areas to facilitate usage 7 days of the week, 52 weeks a year and sports educational village. The stadium, itself will utilise the most up to date environmental.
This new state of the art Sports Village will be a vibrant focal point of North Belfast and a Fantastic Asset for local schools and Community. As a retained advisor to Crusaders Football club, Copius Consulting will support the club through every stage of this landmark project ensuring successful delivery by June 2013.

EC1 New Deal for Communities (NDC) is one of thirty-nine NDC partnerships across England that has received government funding over a ten-year period to kick-start the regeneration of deprived neighbourhoods. Copius Consulting were commissioned to undertake a feasibility study and business plan for the establishment of a new, unified youth partnership.
Driven by youth interaction, this programme entailed the creation of a network, representative of the interests of the youth providers in the area and with strategic focus on collaborative benefit, commissioning services and local solutions to locally identified needs. The Youth Network now lobby and compete for commissioned services for young people. The Youth Forum now offer the EC1 Partnership a unique mechanism to engage on an ongoing basis with young people.
In terms of accessing the views of young people in the success of the work carried out to date and indeed in the future, using young people to ascertain these views places young people to the core of everything that the groups represent and do.
