Managing partner & Founder

Liam has worked in the sector for the last 12 years and established Copius Consulting in late 2004. Educated with a 1st Class Honours Degree, an MA, an MBA, Liam's passion and commitment to the sector has seen him develop the Copius brand into the largest independent 3rd sector consultancy company in Northern Ireland.

Liam specialises in Neighbourhood Renewal, Business Planning for large scale capital projects and the development of social enterprises. Liam's vision for the company is that they continue delivering high quality, affordable and innovative business management services to 3rd sector organisations across the UK.

Liam's dedication to the sector has afforded him the opportunity to be involved in some of the largest capital development projects in the UK, including the development of the £40 million Giants Park Stadium in Belfast and the £5 million Youth Facilties funded through the MyPlace programme in London, Bristol, Manchester, Blackburn and Oldham.

Darren McArdle Photo

Darren McArdle

Senior Partner

Educated at the University of Ulster, Darren specialises in community consultation, strategic thinking and action planning which is created and facilitated in such a way that the client understands the rationale behind it.

Previously employed by Lisburn City, Craigavon Borough and Armagh City and District Councils as a sports development officer, Darren has learned that the value of any 'community' is in the people providing everyday opportunity for all those living in the area, it has been the desire to further these opportunities and the capacity within these communities that have driven Darren in his role at Copius.

Recent experience includes the facilitation, development and preparation of a full youth led funding submission to the myplace programme on behalf of the London Borough of Brent (5 Million), as well as an active role in the creation of 5 further sites across the UK. Darren is acts as the lead on behalf of Copius on the delivery of some of the current Peace III programmes. Having recently completed an assignment in the North East, Copius are engaged in a large sports capital project in Clones, Monaghan as well as driving a Peace and Reconciliation through sport programme for the Sligo Peace Partnership.

Darren has secured in excess of £100million in Capital and Revenue investment for community based projects.

A BA (Hons) Sport and Leisure Studies graduate from the University of Ulster at Jordanstown, Robert has been a integral part of the Copius team for the last three years. Robert manages the Sports Development element of the business and specialist work areas include, Strategic and business planning, Corporate Governance planning, Programme / project planning and delivery, and Training and Course Development

Robert has utilised his extensive employment and volunteer experience in the Private, Public and Third sectors to provide an unparalleled, unique service to over 75 managed clients.

Eamonn Seydak Photo

Eamonn Seydak

Senior Consultant

Eamonn is a graduate from the University of Ulster Eamonn currently manages the North West Copius office based in Derry. Eamonn has benefited from previous experience within the community and voluntary sector working as sport development officer in North Belfast before managing a local social enterprise 'Sportopps.com'. Now approaching his 3rd year with the company, Eamonn has managed some of the largest contracts Copius have delivered to date across the UK and Northern Ireland including the £5 million MyPlace project in the London Borough of Brent as well as local based Peace III programmes delivered in both the North East Cluster and County Sligo.

Simon Lennon Photo

Simon Lennon

Consultant

A graduate of the University of Ulster, educated with a BSc and Msc, Simon endeavours to enhance the capacity of local groups within the community and voluntary sector. Within his role as a key part of the consultant team Simon works closely with clients on a daily basis offering support in areas such as fundraising, project planning and development and strategic planning. A keen volunteer for a number of years, Simon feels this has helped to enhance his role identifying innovative solutions to the problems faced by those working within the sector.

Consultant

Janine is a graduate from the University of Ulster (BSc Hons) with 5 years experience in the design, delivery and implementation of innovative projects targeting not only performance sport but the foundations of community based sport and physical activity projects. Janine has extensive experience in the development and maintenance of a wide range of partnerships both in the public and voluntary sector with the ability to build sound working relationships with service providers, governing bodies and community organisations.
